Title: Inpatient Psychiatric Bed Tracking

Requires the Department of Human Services (DHS) to convene an inpatient psychiatric bed tracking system study committee to make recommendations on expanding the acuity of disabilities a hospital/facility is able to accept (including those with sexually or physically aggressive behaviors); increasing reimbursement rates depending on level of care provided; and updating the system so that it can accept and report real-time data on MHIs, hospitals, and subacute MH facilities participating in the system. Membership to include (at a minimum) representatives of hospitals, DHS, managed care, county mental health advocate, a private payor of inpatient care, and law enforcement.  Report due 12/15/21; effective 7/1/21.
